Natural Building Workshop jun'26

Join us for an intensive, hands-on and theoretical workshop where we will build a complete tiny house — from the ground up to the final details.

Over 9 days of immersion, we will collectively develop a small cabin, going through all stages of the construction process: foundations, structure, walls, floors, roofing, insulation, and finishes.

This is a predominantly practical course, designed for learning by doing. Around 85% of the time will be dedicated to on-site construction, complemented by theoretical moments where we will frame the techniques, materials, and construction decisions. Rooted in a learning-by-doing approach, the workshop prioritizes collective learning and shared experience, valuing the process as much as — if not more than — the final built result.

During the workshop, you will work with a range of natural materials — wood, earth/clay, plant fibers, and lime — exploring their properties, applications, and potential. We will cover principles of natural building, low-impact solutions, and strategies for building in a conscious, efficient, and locally grounded way.

The goal is to provide you with real tools: to understand materials, learn how to test and apply them, and gain the autonomy to start your own projects. More than learning isolated techniques, the aim is to convey an integrated understanding of the construction process — from concept to realization.

By the end, in addition to the knowledge acquired, you will have taken part in the collective construction of a real tiny house.

More than just a workshop, this is an experience of learning, sharing, and building together.
